Earth
O God,
As the earth orbits the sun, so may my life be oriented toward you;
as the earth is one tiny speck in a massive universe, so may my life be humbled in its smallness;
as the earth is vital in its particularity, so may my life be embraced for its importance; and
as the earth teems with many forms of life, so may my life develop it many lively possibilities.
Amen.
