Thank you, God, for our pets.
Thank you for what they help us to learn about…
…caring for those who can’t care for themselves,
…accepting love that is unconditional,
…the importance of just being there,
…the pleasure of simple things,
…the nurturing power of touch, and
…the power of joyous welcome whenever someone comes home.
