Give Up (Third Day of Lent)
On the one hand, O God, give us strength and faith never to give up to circumstances that threaten to hold us back, to temptations that threaten to trip us up, or to successes that threaten to bog us down.
On the other hand, O God, give us trust and insight always to give up to your persistent grace that accepts us, to your constant love that forgives us, and to your abiding help that encourages us.
Amen.
