Earth

For the beauty of the Earth, O God, we praise you.

For such a wonderful place to call home, O God, we praise you.

For the resources that enable us to live, O God, we praise you.

For the ways that we have harmed and continue to harm this great gift, O God, we repent.

For our failure to take seriously our responsibility to protect our home, O God, we repent.

For our inability or unwillingness to consider the effects our actions will have on future generations, O God, we repent.

For the facing of this hour, O God, give us wisdom and courage.
