Sixth Sunday of Easter
O God,
We gather today to praise you for the life made available to us through our risen Lord Jesus Christ.
We praise you first for his life, for a life that was lived in absolute alignment with the will of his Father.
We praise you second for the presence of his life in our life, a presence made possible by his resurrection and by your sending of the Holy Spirit to us.
We praise you third for the presence of his love and grace in our life, a presence that inspires and enables us to open our lives up to other people.
We praise you fourth for the privilege of growing in this life, of growing more and more into the image of Christ our Lord.
Today we focus on praising you . . .
