Hope

O God,

Help us to live in hope.

Help us to live

in light of your future
in light of your purpose,
in light of your eternity,

and

to live in light of the resurrection, both

that of Jesus which has already come

and

that of ourselves
which is yet to come
and
in the power of which we already live.

Amen.
