Serve

O God,

Since we follow
the One
who came
to serve
rather than
to be served,

form in us
minds and hearts
that want
to serve
rather than
to be served

so that we will
look for and
take advantage of
every opportunity
to serve
others

and so be true followers
of the One
who came
to serve
rather than
to be served.
