Today
O God,
Thank you for this day
that we have never had before,
that we will never have again, and
that is the only one we have.
Help us to make the most of it; help us to grow
toward being who we truly are,
toward loving you with all we are and our neighbor as ourselves, and
toward full awareness of your presence.
Amen.
