O God,

Thank you for all of it.

Thank you—

--for what we have learned from it and for what we have yet to learn from it;
--for the constant struggle and for the occasional insight;
--for every second that is gone and for every second that remains;
--for days when you seem to be right there and for days when you seem to be far away; and
--for times that we grope in the dark and for moments when we see the light.

Thank you for all of it.
