Ninth Day of Easter
O God,
Since, through
the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
we walk in newness of life,
help us to be people
who contribute to the living of life
by other people.
Don’t let us be people
who take life away from others
through
prejudice,
vengeance,
jealousy,
discouragement,
or
apathy.
Let us instead be people
who contribute life to others
though
acceptance,
forgiveness,
gratitude,
encouragement,
and
interest.
Amen.
