Together
O God,
Thank you for those times
when it all seems to come together,
when it seems as if
all of our efforts,
all of our projects,
all of our preparation,
all of our relationships,
all of our accomplishments,
all of our successes,
all of our failures—indeed,
all of our living—
seems to come together
in a moment that
makes sense of it all
and
makes it worth it all.
Give us grace to have the insight
to recognize such moments when they happen.
Give us faith to keep on living and trying
in the meantime.
And thank you for that time
that is coming
when it will all come together
and
when it will all make sense
forever.
