Today
O God,
Thank you that today
the Earth is rotating on its axis,
the sun is shining in the sky,
blood is circulating in our bodies,
air is filling our lungs,
thoughts are forming in our brains,
love is stirring in our hearts,
and
you are enlivening our spirits.
Help us to show our appreciation
by making the most
of this day,
by doing all the good we can
in this day,
and
by sharing all the love and hope we can
in this day.
Amen.
