Laugh
O God,
Thank you for the ability to laugh;
thank you for the pleasure that laughter brings.
Give us a healthy ability to laugh at ourselves;
help us not to take ourselves too seriously.
Protect us from the tendency to laugh at others;
help us not to find pleasure in their pain.
Grant us the joy of laughing with others;
help us to know the fun of being in community.
Let us laugh at what makes you laugh.
Let us live in the knowledge that you will have the last laugh …
