Thirty-Third Day of Lent
O God,
Let my repentance be not
just a turning away from sin
but also a turning
toward you and
toward others.
Let my repentance be not
just a turning away from a fear of judgment
but also a turning
toward an embrace of grace and
toward a lifestyle of love.
Let my repentance be not
just a turning away from following the wrong path
but also a turning
toward walking with you and
toward walking with others
who walk with you.
Amen.
