O God,
Thank you for whatever is next.
Help us to prepare as best we
can for what we can anticipate;
help us to be open as much as we
can to what we can’t anticipate.
Empty us of fear and anxiety
about what is next;
then fill the place they filled in
us with wonder, with excitement,
with trust, and with hope.
Amen.
