Thirty-Fifth Day of Lent

O God,

Make us ready for
what’s coming.

Make us ready for the
betrayal, arrest, trial, torture,
and crucifixion of Jesus.

Make us ready for the ways
in which we are called
to share in his suffering.

Make us ready to take up
our cross and follow him.

Make us ready for his cross.

Make us ready for our cross.

Amen.
