Fortieth Day of Easter
O God,
Since the resurrected Christ lives
in us, let his life show in ours.
Let our lives show
love instead of hate,
forgiveness instead of vengeance,
hope instead of despair,
trust instead of worry,
generosity instead of greed, and
acceptance instead of rejection.
Since the resurrected Christ lives
in us, let his life show in ours.
