Aside

O God,

Help us put aside those
things that make for conflict:

pride,
greed,
anger,
vengeance,
ignorance, and
fear.

Help us pick up those
things that make for peace:

humility,
generosity,
mercy,
grace,
love,
understanding, and
faith.
