O God,
For those who have given me
meaning,
tradition,
inspiration,
challenge,
wonder,
depth,
character,
hope, and
love—
for those who have given me themselves—
I thank you.
Help me to be the kind of person that
others think of when they thank you for
those who have given them such good gifts.
