Know
O God,
We think we know a lot more than we know.
Forgive our arrogance, our smallness, and our narrowness.
Help us be open to facts we don’t know and to perspectives we’ve not considered.
Thank you for revealing yourself to us so we can know you. Thank you
especially for revealing yourself through your Son Jesus Christ and through
your Holy Spirit.
Protect us from thinking that to know you is to know all about you.
Help us grow every day in knowing you and in knowing about you.
Let our lives demonstrate what know, and that we know how much we don’t
know.
Amen.
