Inauguration
O God,
May the incoming President, Vice-President,
and members of their administration
see themselves as servants,
care more for others than for self,
work to foster the greater good,
care deeply about liberty and justice,
temper power with humility, and
be motivated by empathy and compassion.
Amen.
