The Lord’s Day
O God,
As we prepare to
worship you today,
make us ready to be
amazed,
surprised,
confused,
perplexed,
flabbergasted,
comforted,
challenged,
discombobulated,
or
awed—
whatever befits today’s
encounter between
who you are
and
who we are.
Amen.
