Thanks

O God,

There is so much
that we need or
that we think we need.
Thank you that we can
bring our needs
before you in prayer.

Give us grace to thank you for
all that you have done
before we start
asking you to do more.

Give us grace to remember
all that you have done
so that we do not fear
that you will not do more.

Give us grace to
demonstrate gratitude for
all that you have done
by doing what we can
to help others.

Give us grace to thank you for
all that you do not do and
to trust that it was best
that you didn’t.

Amen.
