The Lord’s Day
In our worship of you today, O God, let us be reminded that your Son said that he “must undergo great suffering, and be rejected…, and be killed, and after three days rise again,” and that he then said, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me”; in being reminded, cause us to be challenged, inspired, and empowered.
Amen.
