Expansion
O God,
Forgive us for the ways in which we try to reduce you to what we can understand and manage; forgive us when we attempt to reduce our experience of you to rituals, to rules, and to appearances.
Expand our ways of experiencing you; open our spirit, mind, heart, and senses to all of the ways that you reveal yourself in us and around us.
Expand our ways of responding to you; open our lives up to the vast possibilities of grace, love, and service.
Move us away from reduction and toward expansion when it comes to the ways that we experience and respond to you. Let our lives reflect our growing awareness of and participation in the wonder of it all.
