Mercy
O God,
For your mercy that has led you to show us compassion and kindness when we are hurting, even if the pain comes due to our own actions or lack of action, we praise you.
For the privilege and opportunity to have your mercy flow from us to other people who are hurting, we praise you.
Help us to be people who, because we have received mercy, offer mercy.
Amen.
