Insight
O God,
Grant us insight
into ourselves,
into other people,
into situations,
but especially
into your ways in the world
not so we can be smart
but
so we can be wise.
Then grant us grace to put such wisdom to good use
in loving you with all we are
and
in loving our neighbor as we love ourselves.
Amen.
