Purpose
O God,
Help us to be purposeful in our prayers; let our purpose be to bring it all to you and to ask you to help us in and with all of it.
But let our main purpose be to want your purposes to be carried out; let our main purpose be to want nothing more than—and to move toward wanting nothing other than—your will to be done.
Amen.
