Forty-Fourth Day of Easter
O God,
Thank you for
the eternal life
that is ours
because you
by your grace
allow us to
know you through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Help us to
bear witness to
that eternal life
in the ways that
we think, talk, and act.
Let our living
of eternal life be
humble and not prideful,
gracious and not obnoxious,
selfless and not selfish,
sacrificial and not sheltered,
bold and not timid,
fulfilled and not potential,
and
full and not partial.
Amen.
