Awake, Alive, Alert

O God,

We are awake.
We are alive.
We are alert.

Thank you!

As this week progresses,

help us to stay awake
so that we will fully experience
what is ours to experience;

help us to stay alive
so that we will be engaged
with life fully and joyfully;

help us to stay alert
so that we will see
who and what
we need to see
so that we can react and respond
as we should.

In all things,
help us
to be awake to you,
to be alive in you,
and
to be alert to you.
