The Lord’s Day
O God,
We worship you today
because you are God,
because you made us,
because you sustain us,
and
because you love us.
We worship you today
as people who acknowledge
that you are God,
that you made us,
that you sustain us,
and
that you love us.
As we worship you today,
help us to grow in
our knowledge of
and
appreciation for
who you are.
As a by-product of our worship today,
help us to grow in
our knowledge of
and
appreciation for
who we are.
Amen.
