O God,
Thank you for those things that get used
regularly in the normal course of our lives.
Thank you for things like
toothbrushes,
toilets,
sinks,
chairs,
roads,
phones,
utensils,
beds, and
lights.
Fill us with gratitude for even
the simplest and most basic things
that we use without thinking about them.
Help us to pay attention
and to be grateful …
Amen.
