Simple
O God,
It’s a complicated world filled
with complicated problems.
Bless and lead those who are
responsible to try to find solutions.
As we live our lives,
help us to keep things simple.
Help us to practice simple faith,
always putting our trust in you.
Help us to practice simple hope,
always looking forward to your future.
Help us to practice simple gratitude,
always being thankful for what we have.
Help us to practice simple love,
always giving of ourselves however we can.
Help us to practice simple grace,
always accepting others as they are.
Maybe if we practice such simplicity, some of the
complicated things will take care of themselves.
Help us to keep it simple.
