No (Part 5)
O God,
Help us say “No” to excess.
Give us a desire to be successful and
self-sufficient, but protect us from a
desire always to want a lot more than
we have. As long as we have enough,
let us be satisfied with what we have.
Help us not to want things just
for the sake of having things.
If and as we do end up with an excess, help
us to make good use of it. Help us to use
it to help others in the best ways we can.
Amen.
