Forty-Eighth Day of Easter

O God,

Let us move away
from those ways of
thinking,
feeling,
talking,
and
acting
that take away
from our life
and
from the life of others.

Let us move toward
those ways of
thinking,
feeling,
talking,
and
acting
that contribute
to our life
and
to the life of others.

Let us grow in
those ways of
thinking,
feeling,
talking,
and
acting
that make us
more and more alive
so that,
when it comes time
for us to die,
we will be
as alive
as we possibly
can be.
