The Lord’s Day
O God,
We will come before you in prayer today.
We will open our hearts to you so we can pour
what is in them out before you and so we can
receive into them what we need from you.
Thank you for the privilege of prayer.
Help us to remember that prayer
is communion and communication and
that communion and communication
are based on personal relationship.
So help us to grow every day
in our relationship with you.
Remind us to commune and communicate
with you every moment of every day.
Help us to live a life of prayer …
Amen.
